That word isn't used in my house. This does remind me of a reaction I saw to the Imus scandal a while back. People just never know when to shut their mouths. It's rather ridiculous that some young African Americans are using the word thinking it's cool when it's not. Like you said, it just teaches the next generation to use the word, and if we want it to stop it, we mustn't say it in front of the children, or at all, period.
